Professional Experience

Rami Barkoumi is a Senior Data Management and Governance Consultant at Kaizen Consulting, with additional leadership experience as a Project Manager and Assistant Training Manager. His career combines governance, compliance, and training with project leadership in both public and private sectors. He has contributed to national-level initiatives including the establishment and operation of the Data Management Office at the General Authority for Competition, where he developed strategies, procedures, and policies aligned with national data governance standards and personal data protection requirements issued by the National Data Management Office (NDMO).

Practical Expertise

Rami has extensive expertise in data governance frameworks, compliance with regulatory requirements, and enterprise data management standards. Currently, he is engaged in projects supporting organizations in meeting the requirements of the Saudi national data maturity index (NDI) to achieve high levels of governance and compliance. He has led international training programs for government and private sectors, and organized large-scale events.
