Professional Experience

Esraa Makram is a Quality and Organizational Excellence Consultant at Kaizen Consulting, with extensive experience in quality management, institutional excellence, and government awards programs. She previously held several leadership and expert roles within the Egyptian Government Excellence Award under the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, including Specialized Awards Manager, Senior Evaluation and Quality Officer, and Certified Assessor. Esraa also served as Head of Quality Assurance, Environment, Health, and Safety at the Red Sea Group for Contracting and Trading, and as a Lead Trainer and Auditor at the Quality Experts Academy. Her career demonstrates a strong record of advancing institutional performance, driving quality culture, and promoting excellence across both public and private sectors.

Practical Experience

Esraa has a track record in leading and implementing quality management systems, conducting internal and external audits, and preparing organizations for ISO 9001:2015 certification and renewal. She has trained over 85 government entities—including ministries, governorates, and universities—on excellence standards such as the Equal Opportunities and Women Empowerment Award and the Innovative Government Initiative Award. Esraa has also contributed to the development of institutional excellence frameworks for universities, performance indicators, and survey tools in collaboration with Egypt’s Supreme Council of Universities and the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation. In addition, she has participated as an assessor and trainer in several regional award programs, including the Sharjah Government Excellence Award and the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects, highlighting her influence in regional excellence ecosystems.

Educational Background and Training

Esraa holds a Master’s degree in Total Quality Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. She also earned a Diploma in Quality Assurance and Statistical Control from Cairo University, and a Diploma in Environmental Studies from Ain Shams University. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education, majoring in English, from Alexandria University. Esraa is a Certified EFQM Assessor and has completed specialized training in food safety systems (ISO 22000) and quality auditing.
