Ahmed is a consultant at Kaizen Consulting, where he leverage his expertise to guide organizations in quality management and operational efficiency. Previously, he served as the Head of the Quality Assurance Department at Kandil Steel in Egypt, leading initiatives to enhance product quality and operational workflows. Ahmed also held the position of Senior Quality Engineer at MCV-Mercedes Benz in Egypt, where he played a pivotal role in ensuring the quality standards of automotive components, focusing on continuous improvement and process optimization.
Practical Experience
With his experience in implementing Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Ahmed has driven continuous improvement projects across multiple sectors, particularly in the automotive and manufacturing industries. His proficiency includes utilizing statistical tools, quality control techniques, and fundamental automotive tools like Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and MINITAB software. Ahmed has also demonstrated expertise in governmental services, particularly in documenting and improving policies, procedures, and standards, while applying ISO standards to enhance operational processes.
Educational Background and Training
Ahmed holds an MBA from Brooklyn Business Academy, Brooklyn Institute, USA, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering in Shubra, Benha University, Egypt. He also possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. His professional development includes certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Business Process Modeling using ARIS from Software AG, and foundational training from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM®). Ahmed is also ISO certified, holding qualifications in ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 for Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ISO 50001:2018 for Energy Management Systems, and IATF Internal Auditor for Automotive Quality Systems, among others.
