Comparing Employment Supported by the Human Resources Development Fund with Others

Employment and Retention Level Study

We conducted a consultative study project to compare those employed with support from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) with those employed by other entities, and their continuity (retention) in their jobs.

The scope of work in the project included the following:

  • Human Scope: All those employed through the Fund or other entities specified by the Human Resources Development Fund.
  • Geographical Scope: All regions in the Kingdom, totaling thirteen (13) administrative regions, and responded:
    • Three thousand three hundred and ten (3,310) of those employed, eighty percent (80%) of whom were supported by the Human Resources Development Fund, with males accounting for (85.4%) and females (14.6%), and sixty percent (60%) of them holding a high school diploma or less.
    • Two hundred and ten (210) employers and human resources officials in the private sector.
    • Fifty (50) officials from supporting entities.
  • Providing recommendations, programs, and initiatives that facilitate achieving the Fund's targets in the study subject.
