Saudi Al-Ruwad Group launched the Value-Based Leadership Program in a Multi-Crisis World at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva on Monday, 11 Shawwal 1444 AH – corresponding to May 1, 2023.

This program comes within the framework of the strategic partnership between Saudi Al-Ruwad Group and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), and in the context of global efforts to empower values, and as an extension of international cooperation paths to develop consulting and training programs in governmental, private and non-profit organizations in the field of value-based leadership.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, Mr. Nikhil Seth, announced the launch of the training program, praising its importance and positive impact in promoting and empowering global values in all sectors and organizations.

Dr. Saad bin Ibrahim Al-Khalaf, Vice President and Founding Partner of Al-Ruwad Group, pointed out that this project stems from our belief in the importance of international partnerships and the concerted efforts between global expertise houses and international organizations in building and strengthening global value systems. He noted the unlimited support for the private sector from our wise leadership, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect them – confirming that the Kingdom’s leadership exemplifies value-based leadership in word and deed.

Dr. Al-Khalaf also pointed out that the inspiration created by His Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed in the hearts of citizens, and his confidence in the capabilities of the nation’s youth, enabled Al-Ruwad to achieve this partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. Following this, a panel discussion was held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, entitled: “Value-Based Leadership in a Multi-Crisis World”. Several officials and experts participated, including: His Excellency Eng. Mansour Al-Mushaiti, Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Ghazi Bin Zaqr, member of the Saudi Shura Council, and Dr. Saad bin Ibrahim Al-Khalaf, Vice President of Al-Ruwad Group.

The speakers also included: Ms. Maria Edera Spadoni, Deputy Speaker of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Dr. Christian Herivar, President of the World Values Studies Association from Austria, Dr. Neil Hawkes, founder of the Values-Based Education Authority from the United Kingdom, and Ms. Stella Koleva, Deputy President of SAP Global in European countries, in addition to a number of experts and consultants from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.

The launch was attended by a number of delegates from sister countries to the United Nations, Their Excellencies, and senior officials in Geneva.
