Omran Alsharqi is a highly skilled professional in organizational excellence, quality management, and operational improvement with extensive experience across government, non-profit, and private sectors in Saudi Arabia. He currently serves as a Nonprofit Organizations Assessor at the National Center for the Development of the Nonprofit Sector (ITMAM Consultancy) and has previously held consulting and leadership roles at New Concept Consulting and the National Aquaculture Group (SALIC – PIF). His career has evolved through diverse domains, including supply chain management, business process improvement, and institutional excellence, positioning him as an expert in integrating strategy, governance, and performance management to achieve sustainable excellence.

Practical Experience

Omran has led organizational transformation and performance improvement initiatives. His practical experience includes conducting comprehensive field assessments for nonprofit organizations, identifying performance gaps, and designing improvement plans aligned with international models such as EFQM, KAQA, COSO, and ISO 37000. He has established and managed Project Management Offices (PMOs) using PMBOK and Agile methodologies, and developed digital dashboards with ClickUp, Smartsheet, and Power BI to monitor execution efficiency. Omran has implemented Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize operations, reduce waste, and enhance performance. He has also designed KPI frameworks linked to Balanced Scorecards, managed ISO-certified management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and applied advanced analytical tools to drive evidence-based decision-making and operational excellence, including supply chain optimization and logistics improvement.

Omran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Umm Al-Qura University, along with Diplomas in Accounting and in Governance and Internal Auditing from accredited Saudi institutions. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and an EFQM Foundation-level Certified Professional. His advanced qualifications include certifications as Lead Auditor and Consultant for multiple ISO management systems, Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma (LSSGB), and credentials in Total Quality Management (TQM), Business Process Management, and Food Safety (HACCP & CP-FS). He is also a certified Internal Assessor under the Excellence Model of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, issued by the Saudi Standards Organization (SASO).
