Dr. Yahya Alkyari

Dr. Yahya Ahmed Al-Khayari is a Business Excellence Consultant with more than 20 years of professional experience across government, private, and non-profit sectors. His expertise spans organizational excellence, quality management, institutional development, strategic consulting, and capability building. Throughout his career, he has led consultancy engagements, excellence award preparation programs, quality management system implementation, and executive training assignments. Combining academic excellence with extensive practical experience, he has supported organizations in strengthening institutional performance, adopting internationally recognized excellence frameworks, and implementing sustainable management and governance practices.

Practical Expertise

Dr. Yahya began his professional career as Administrative Affairs Supervisor at the University of Science and Technology before moving into quality and excellence consulting with Bayt Al Khibrah International Consulting. He later served as a Business Excellence Consultant at Rowad Al Edarah Administrative Consulting Office, followed by Senior Business Excellence Consultant and Project Manager at Vision Exploration & Excellence (VES), and subsequently Senior Business Excellence Consultant at Tharwah, He worked at Emtiaz Al-Arabiya, a company specializing in institutional excellence. He currently serves as Business Excellence Consultant at Kaizen Consulting. His consulting experience includes preparing organizations for the King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA), the EFQM Excellence Model, and excellence awards within the non-profit sector. He has contributed to developing organizational excellence systems, implementing ISO management systems, managing institutional development projects, delivering executive training programs, and supporting organizations across diverse sectors in strengthening governance, operational excellence, and organizational performance. His experience also includes serving as an excellence assessor, participating in international ISO technical committees, delivering professional workshops and conferences, and advising organizations on sustainable institutional development initiatives.

Dr. Yahya holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Al-Madinah International University, Malaysia, graduating with First Class Honours, and a Master of Business Administration from Open University Malaysia. He also earned a Bachelor's degree in Translation from the University of Science and Technology, Yemen. His professional credentials include accreditation as a KAQA Assessor, EFQM 2025 Assessor and a certified performance improvement practitioner, and Assessor accredited by the Gulf Standards Organization (GSO). He is also a Certified Trusted Charity Consultant, Certified Edamah (Saudi Volunteering Standard) Consultant, Certified McKinsey Institutional Excellence Consultant, and holds multiple ISO-related certifications covering quality, environmental management, occupational health and safety, business continuity, information security, innovation management, accreditation, and conformity assessment.
